Range Day Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a license to participate in range day?
A: No you do not
Q: Is there a minimum age to shoot at range day?
A: Yes the range’s rules say you must be 12 to shoot but anyone can watch
Q: How much does it cost?
A: You only pay for the ammo you shoot, prices vary on the caliber of the firearm. The fee to enter the range is $10.
Q: What types of firearms are available?
A: Variety of NY Compliant AR-15’s, Compliant VZ-58, Shotguns, hunting rifles, tactical shooting systems and a Barrett 50cal. Earplugs and safety glasses will be provided as well
Q: What if this is my first time shooting?
A: Perfect. We will take good care of you. It is one on one instruction. It is not a competition; but a learning experience and a great chance to shoot a wide variety of firearms.
Q: Do I need to register that I am attending?
A: You do not need to register, but you can go on our website and pre order tickets and range fee to skip some of the lines.
Q: How do I get to the range?
A: Take the LIE to exit 68 and get on the William Floyd Parkway North to route 25 and head east. It is about a half a mile on the left hand side.
Q: Can I bring my own guns and ammo to the event?
A: We will provide all of the firearms and ammo for Range Day.
There will also be food provided so you can spend the whole day!
